In a road rage incident, a man assaulted the driver and passenger of another vehicle who did not yield to him as he attempted to merge into traffic from a freeway onramp. He claimed that they instigated the situation by ignoring him and his attempts to merge properly while utilizing his blinker. They claim they did not see him and that his response was frightening and that they felt he might harm them.

At a local restaurant, a patron was accused of assaulting members of the staff, including the branch manager, after he learned that he spent more money on the bill than he imagined. A 19-year-old from Miami was recently brought to court after being arrested for shooting an off-duty police officer last year. The teen with the initials W.B. went to court armed with a defense lawyer, who told the jury that his client wasn’t even present at the time of the shooting. Still, the jury declared that W.B. was guilty of attempted murder with a firearm after he allegedly shot the off-duty police officer.

The teen was also convicted of armed robbery with a firearm and battery with a firearm. The police say that the teen was with two others when they ambushed the off-duty law enforcement officer last year and demanded that he remove all jewelry and give it to them. The officer was on his way back from a volunteer service at his church.

The officer who survived the shooting attended the court hearing and testifying, saying he was defenseless because his gun was in his car. The teenager with the gun shot the victim point blank in the chest, according to the investigation. Still, W.B.’s defense attorney claims that this is a case of mistaken identity, and that his client wasn’t even present at the time of the shooting. The other two boys who were arrested in the case are still awaiting trial. All three men were held without bond.

After the devastating massacre at a Colorado movie theatre, police have been vigilant to check all bags and watch out for suspicious characters at the movie theatre. Still, three offenders have been arrested at separate instances in Maine, Arizona, and California since James Holmes attack that killed 12 and injured 58 in Colorado.

In Maine, police patrols at the theatre arrested a 49-year-old who was speeding on Sunday. In his car they discovered an AK-47, four handguns, and several boxes of ammunition. In addition, they found clippings from newspaper articles of the Colorado killings. The man told police that he had been at the theater watching The Dark Knight Rises in Maine with a loaded gun in his backpack. He chose not to shoot anyone in the audience, and instead was heading to New Hampshire to shoot and kill a former employer.

When the suspect’s home was searched, police found more weapons. In Arizona, another offender was arrested when he created a commotion at a showing of the film on Friday. The man threatened and intimidated the audience. Police determined that the man was intoxicated, which is why he was acting strangely and startling already on-edge viewers during the film. One patron confronted the drunk man and he erupted, sending 50 people rushing from the theater in fear of another shooting.

In Los Angeles, authorities arrested another man at a theater in Norwalk. The man was uttering threats and made references to the Colorado shooting in the movie theater. He was arrested for terroristic threats. He was carrying backpacks, but they did not find any weapons inside. They also wen to the man’s home and found nothing there. At present, any threats or subversive activity by patrons at showings of Batman: The Dark Knight Rises will be taken very seriously. Elvis Dumervil is encouraged to exercise aggression and tenacity on the football field, but he was recently arrested for displaying these character traits outside of the football stadium. Dumervil was taken into custody on Saturday, July 14th, after he was allegedly reported committing aggravated assault with a firearm.

The NFL player was allegedly driving his Land Rover when he was cut off by another driver. The incident report goes on to say that Dumervil was agitated, and made threats at the other driver by honking his horn. The person who had cut him off honked back and the two exchanged threats. Dumervil was driving a friend in his vehicle, and they chose to get out of their car and approach their offender. As they moved towards the angry women, sources say that both men lifted their shirts and displayed firearms. The victim was worried for her life and tried to drive away from the incident.

Despite the report, Dumervil’s lawyer says that the football player was not charged with aggravated assault and that the incident never even took place. He says that once there is a full investigation, he is certain that Mr. Dumervil will be let go without any punishments to serve. The athlete is currently in a Florida jail with a bond set at $7,500. He is the second Bronco’s player to be taken to jail in the past year. His teammate D.J. William’s is set to appear in court in August to deal with his DUI charge.

While Dumervile is yet to prove his innocence, he couldn’t do it without the help of a great criminal defense lawyer.
